Honda MOTORCYCLES Error Codes list
Owners of cbr 600 F4i, if you have to face such a problem as a flashing FI (MIL) light. – Put a jumper in the service connector, which is located near the battery and has two wires. And one more nuance and you can complete the article) If the error is not one, but several at the same time, then first FI will blink from the lowest digit of the code to the highest with a pause. Turn the start-stop button to the run position, the ignition switch is off.
A sign that the memory has been erased is the error indicator goes out and then starts flashing. Please note that the memory will not be erased if the ignition switch is turned off before the indicator starts flashing. And lastly, if the Indicator blinks 20 times, then the memory has not been erased and you need to repeat it all over again.
Most Complete List For Honda Check Engine Light Codes
The code definitions are a good starting point when determining the cause of the service engine light but where do you go from there? If you are unsure of any abbreviations, check out the acronym list by clicking on the link at the left. Next, read our article Automotive Circuit Testing 101, and if there is an article related to the system you are testing, such as Oxygen Sensors or EGR concerns, read these as well. If there is a link to a specific diagnosis strategy for the code then follow that and start testing. If there is no procedure for your manufacturer specific code, then I suggest referring to a similar generic OBD II code (these are listed numerically by system type) to get a good idea of what to look for. We do ask that you please read the info available on the site first so that we can help reduce repeat questions.
Also we value your feedback and like to hear stories of unusual fixes or concerns you may have run into with your Check Engine Light, so feel free to share your experiences by using the “Contact Us” link. We do our best to update these Honda check engine light codes as frequently as possible. When retrieving Honda check engine light codes with an OBD II scan tool, proceed as follows: Connect scan tool to the 16-pin data link connector (DLC) located underneath the glove compartment.
Follow scan tool manufacturer’s operating instructions to access the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC’s). You may also retrieve Honda check engine light codes using the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL), by counting the flashes as follows:
07PAZ-0010100, or equivalent, to service check connector located under the passenger’s side of dash. P1168 HO2S11 Label Circuit Low Voltage Fault (Bank 1 Sensor 1) P1169 HO2S11 Label Circuit High Voltage Fault (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

FI Blinking Light Codes…..
Lots of bikes keep on going even with error codes coming up, its just their way of telling you to give them some attention ๐ Oxygen sensor is just one on many possible problems, and again it may not be a major one to worry about.
HONDA Motorcycle Fault Codes DTC
b) Open or short in TP sensor circuit b) Open or short in ECT sensor circuit – Malfunctioning MAP sensor Engine is operating normally
– Vacuum hose MAP sensor is removed or disconnected
An open in the MIL circuit of the indicator – Not OK ECM Engine running fine e) Open in the engine stop relay circuit
There is a jumper in the service connector not faulty control unit (ECM) short circuit in the service connector – Engine is operating normally b) Open or short in IAT sensor circuit b) An open or short in the speedometer sensor circuit
Fault code, 12, 13, 14, 15 on a 929.
I had this problem with my bike the other day, and it suddenly stopped a second or so while driving, the other morning it did not even fire.. The problem was the: + connector, that was in the cable harness, just next to the tank, see attached picture.
